LYNN BOOTH

Founder & Executive Producer


Lynn Booth is an award-winning executive producer and the founder of Make Believe Media. With a career spanning over two decades, her work has been broadcast around the world and recognized for its depth, creativity and storytelling.

Her acclaimed body of work spans natural history, true crime, and cultural exploration — including true crime series The Devil You Know and Very Bad Men (Seasons 1–4), which remain in wide international distribution on platforms like Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Investigation Discovery USA.

She has received awards for CD Hoy, Pretty Boys, For the Love of Elephants, and the four-part natural history series America’s Wild Seasons, which earned her a 2020 CableFax Award. Recent projects include the Korean-language documentary Glorious Holiday (CBC Gem) and the Dinka-language series Katiba Banat: Sisters in Arms (Rogers Omni).

Lynn was also named Woman of the Year by Women in Film and Television Vancouver in 2011 and won the Wild Screen Global Pitch Award at Sunnyside of the Doc in 2016.

She is a dedicated mentor to emerging talent and a champion of international co-productions, actively fostering new voices and cross-border collaborations. At the heart of her work is a commitment to shaping meaningful, resonant storytelling for a global audience.
